Six of Krival class warship, of which INS Tushil is part, are already in service of Indian Navy, including 3 Talwar Class ships constructed at Baltiysky Shipyard in Peterburg, and three of Teg Class built at Yantar shipyard.

India had signed a contract with JSC Rosonboronexport in October 2016 for two warships and from January 2024, the vessel underwent a series of extensive trials -- ranging from sea trials to delivery acceptance trials under the aegis of an expert team of Indian Navy.
