Embassy inks pact to divest 25 acres in Bengaluru to Lam Research for ₹1,125 cr

Sale proceeds to be reinvested in high-growth opportunities

Embassy Developments Ltd (EDL), through its wholly-owned subsidiary Embassy East Business Park, has signed definitive agreements with Lam Research (India) Pvt Ltd to sub-lease and subsequently divest approximately 25 acres in Whitefield, Bengaluru, subject to regulatory approvals. The transaction is valued at ₹1,125 crore.

Aditya Virwani, Managing Director, Embassy Developments Ltd, said: “Bengaluru remains a top choice for global corporations. The proceeds from this sale will be reinvested into high-growth opportunities, strengthening our development pipeline and delivering sustained value to our stakeholders.”

The company’s shares closed at ₹115.75, up 5.13 per cent on the BSE.
