As part of its e-governance initiative, Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) on Thursday launched an SMS-based service for collection of property and water taxes.
The service will allow online payment of taxes by sending SMSes from mobile phones after registering them with the civic body’s Web site, Mayor Krishan Murari Moghe told a press conference.
IMC has become the first civic body to launch such a service in Madhya Pradesh.
