World number one Serena Williams clinched the 53rd WTA title of her career on Sunday, beating Sweden’s Johanna Larsson to win the $ 235,000 (309,000 euro) tournament in Bastad.
French Open winner Williams knocked off the local hopeful in straight sets, 6-4, 6-1. The American did not drop a set in the tournament.
