The Association of Indian Economic and Financial Studies' two-day biennial conference starts today. Hosted by the School of Economics, University of Hyderabad, this is only the third occasion the conference is being held in India. Students of the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune will stage a strike in Delhi. They are seeking removal of actor and BJP member Gajendra Chauhan as the institute’s chairman. The students will march from Jantar Mantar towards Parliament Street.
