Air India will review the situation in the Pakistan air space before its opens up for bookings on May 15. The national carrier had suspended the route temporarily due to Pakistan airspace closure earlier this year. This came six months after launching its Mumbai-New York JFK service in December 2018. Air India has closed reservations for it beyond June.

Jet Airways Ltd’s office space will be auctioned on May 15 at a base price of ₹245 crore. This comes after the cash-strapped airline failed to repay a loan which amounted to nearly Rs. 415 crore. This space spans over 52,000 square feet and is part of the Jet Airways Godrej BKC, a 12-storey commercial building.

Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy will organise a video conference on May 15 with the Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer and Deputy Commissioners to assess the drought in the state. Sources said information regarding the number of villages that are being supplied drinking water, through tankers, fodder banks and other ways, will also be discussed.
