Zippo the lighter brand has launched a men’s fragrance range in India. ‘The Original’ is the first in the fragrance line and the scent draws on the brand’s masculine and rugged values. The bottle is enclosed in a metal casing with the same shape and opening system as the Zippo lighter. The 100 ml eau de toilette is made up of two 50 ml bottles with a refill system similar to the one used for Zippo lighters. Also available in India is the complete Zippo line of men’s care products including deodorant, after shave balm and body and hair wash. The fragrance is priced at Rs 2,150.

Freshness unlimited

Cavinkare has launched two premium variants of Spinz deo body sprays, Hypnotty and Rejuve. Hypnotty is a fruity floral fragrance while Rejuve has a fresh citrus lime fragrance. Both come with the promise of a 24-hour, long-lasting freshness. They are available in major retail stores and come in two SKUs – the 150 ml is priced at Rs 160 and the 90 ml is priced at Rs 105.

Balancing act

Industrial Research Corporation, which manufactures and owns the Bril brand has launched a balance bike called the Brilrider. This is a bicycle without pedals and trainer wheels, meant to teach toddlers and children aged between one and five years balance. The correct time to start babies on the Brilrider is when they are able to walk steadily without falling often. Initially, the child will just use the Brilrider to walk with, but as she gets confident walking and taking charge of the Brilrider, she will start experimenting with her feet up as wheels offer a faster mode of transport. The Brilrider is priced at Rs 3,990 and is suitable for boys and girls.

Parker has launched the Parker Insignia range of pens. It is available in three different styles – Insignia Classic Twist Matte Black, Insignia Classic Twist Shiny Chrome and Insignia Shiny Gold. The pens are priced between Rs 1,250 and Rs 2,995.

Adani Wilmar Ltd has launched Fortune Rice Bran Health. It claims to contain the highest amount of oryzanol amongst all edible oils, to improve the HDL/LDL ratio and make it heart-friendly. It is made totally from rice bran. It is available in a 1-litre pouch, 2-litre jar, 5-litre jar and 15-litre jar priced at Rs 115, Rs 230, Rs 575 and Rs 1,725 respectively.
