Indore, 02/01/2018: Tonnes of unsold potatoes from the previous crop found their way to this dry pond at Village Kudana near Indore. This situation arose after the farmers did not turn up at the warehouses to pay the stipulated rent for these potatoes since the new crop of potatoes is ready for sale Subsequently, the warehouse authorities sold these to the labourers from Rajasthan who reportedly paid Rs 2 per kg and got it unloaded before their homes near the highway .
