WHO AM I? bl-premium-article-image

Are you an avid investor? How well do you know corporate India?

Here’s a challenge. Using the five clues below, identify the company that is being talked about here

1I got incorporated in 1970s and went public soon thereafter. My founders have built credentials over 100s of years and practised standard corporate governance well before regulations demanded.

2I have given 5x return since March 2020. I am one of the very few companies that have delivered 50 per cent CAGR for well over 10 years.

3Though my founders managed the business well, they entered into a JV with a large global group, hoping they will take me to greater heights. Instead, they messed up my business and had to be bailed out. Glad my founders took control back and rebuilt my business. I have gone up 100 times since then.

4Not many companies have been a micro-cap, a small-cap, a mid-cap and a large-cap-- all in the last 10 years.

5It was a gala time in my corporate office when my market capitalisation overtook larger players in my industry.
