To mark the 150th anniversary celebrations of the Tata Group, Vistara, a joint venture airline between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, will fly seven special flights between Delhi and Mumbai, starting today (September 5). Air-hostesses on these flights will wear vintage-style uniforms of the 1950-60s, in soft colours like pale lilac, and serve dishes that were favourites of JRD Tata — these include Cheddar Cheese and Onion Omelette, Crêpe au Champignon, Meat Medley, Waldorf Salad, Minestrone Soup, Herb Roast Chicken, Goan Prawn Curry and Crème Caramel.
