My favourite airport

My varied business interests take me all over the world. Of the airports that I have visited, Samui Airport at Koh Samui remains my favourite.

What I like about it

Samui airport holds the crown in being the most beautiful and complementing Koh Samui’s natural beauty. The airport has a look and feel of a resort where passengers can relax and unwind at its luxurious lounges and numerous facilities. One of the best features of the airport is the “Soul to Sole” spa where one can loosen up to a traditional Thai massage before boarding the flight.

What could be improved

The long wait for immigration can be frustrating and it would be good if this can be streamlined. Additionally, the waiting areas (except for the business class lounge) are open and not air-conditioned and can get hot and sticky.

Others airports I like

The other airports which remain my favourites are Changi Terminal 3 and Dubai Terminal 3.
