The first World Health Organisation Forum on alcohol, drugs and addictive behaviours is scheduled to be held at the WHO headquarters in Geneva between June 26 and 28. Its primary goal is to strengthen partnerships and collaboration among public health organisations and networks working to reduce the health burden caused by alcohol, drugs and addictive behaviours.
Policymakers, health-care providers, academics, representatives of governments, UN agencies and other inter-governmental organisations, non-governmental organisations and professional associations are expected to participate.
