UK okays psoriasis treatment
The United Kingdom’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has allowed the sale of Dovonex Psoriasis 50microgram/g Ointment at pharmacies without prescription.
Over a million people are estimated to be affected by psoriasis in the UK. The availability of this medicine from pharmacies will increase the choice patients have of where to obtain treatment when their condition recurs, an MHRA note said.

World Health Organsation Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus ( seen here with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang ) is leading WHO’s delegation to the Belt and Road High Level Meeting for Health Cooperation: Towards a Health Silk Road, being held in Beijing. This is his first official visit to the People’s Republic of China since taking office on July 1. The visit will establish a new vision for WHO-China partnership for the next 5–7 years.
