Abhyuday Jindal's lists his five fitness mantras

Abhyuday Jindal, Managing Director, Jindal Stainless Ltd

1. The first thing I do for my health is plan my day to the letter, to reduce stress and ensure proper prioritisation. I always carry my diary with me; it helps me ensure that nothing gets missed out. The only thing I don’t plan is the book I would read at night before sleeping; that’s my surprise treat to myself.

2. My daily routine includes some form of exercise. I love hitting the gym at least four days a week and focus a lot on cardio.

3. I am conscious of what I eat. It helps that I don’t crave junk food, so eating healthy comes naturally to me. However, I do enjoy the occasional cheat day when I go out with my wife.

4. I love playing sports, my favourite being tennis. It helps me clear my head while ensuring a strenuous workout.

5. A tried and tested stress-buster for me is spending time with family and friends. Given my love for planning, I ensure that I meet my friends regularly. Our interactions could range from getting together to enjoy an evening, to trying extreme sports like skydiving, bungee jumping, scuba diving, etc, since we love the adrenaline rush.
