2 Fun: Getting out and about with family and friends gives me so much energy. I love mountain biking and skiing with my husband, Nick. And one of the best experiences I’ve had at the Foundation was cycling with a colleague from meeting-to-meeting in Beijing.
3 Eat well: It’s important for me to be smart about what I eat. I’m not one for diets or food fads. I prefer a balanced diet with lots of vegetables and lean protein in reasonable portions. I love a treat too! So, occasionally I’ll eat sweets or drink alcohol, but only in small quantities.
4 Sleep: Nothing is more important than resting and recharging. I often find myself having to cope with jet lag and a busy schedule. Rather than trying to get in sync with local time, I like to ignore the clock and sleep whenever I feel tired.
5 Read: Staying mentally active is as important as being physically fit. I find that getting lost in a good book provides stimulation and relaxation. I make time to read every day.
