Diary of daily fitness

1. Breathe: My day begins at 4.00 am, and I guard the first 30 minutes fiercely — no screens, no noise, just stillness — time to reset and breathe before the world wakes up. Between 4.30 am and 6 am, I catch up on business priorities, align for the day. The morning window is my clearest, most focused thinking zone.

2. Train: By 6 am, it’s the gym for a two-hour workout, six days a week. I’ve trained for nearly two decades, combining strength training, mixed martial arts, and high-intensity interval training. Fitness is my foundation — mentally and physically. 3. Eat clean: I’m an eggetarian,  and steer clear of sugar, wheat, and processed food. Meals involve fresh, whole foods, rich in protein, fibre, and good fats. The focus is on feeling good, not just tracking macros.

4. Unwind: Evenings are for unwinding — music during my commute, and reading on weekends. I make time to be in nature and with animals — it’s grounding, joyful, and the perfect way to end the day.

5. Early meal: My last meal is before 7 pm; after that, it’s zero — namely ‘breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, eat dinner like a pauper.’  Sleep is by 9.30 pm.
