Elecon Engineering Company Ltd on Wednesday announced that its subsidiary Elecon EPC Projects Ltd has been awarded an order worth ₹246.78 crores by National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd (NTPC).
The order is for supply of coal handling plant package of Gadarwara Super Thermal Power Projects, Stage-I (2x800MW), Prayasvin Patel, Chairman and Managing Director, Elecon Engineering, said in a statement here.
Established in 1951, Elecon Engineering pioneered the manufacture of material handling equipment. It supplies equipment to core sectors like fertiliser, cement, coal/power generation, chemical, steel plant and port mechanisation across the country.
