Mr Rabindra Nath Sen has taken over as the new Chairman of Damodar Valley Corporation effective June 10, 2011, according to a company release.
Mr Sen completed his bachelor of engineering (Mechanical) from Bengal Engineering College University and joined National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd (NTPC) during his formative years.
Prior to joining DVC as Chairman, Mr Sen was the Chief Executive Officer of NSPCL, which is a joint venture company of NTPC and Steel Authority of India Ltd.
