The Kingfisher Airline has reportedly paid the amount due, following which GHIAL withdrew its complaint from the court.

The case against Kingfisher Airlines, its Chairman, Vijay Mallya and four others pertaining to bounce of cheques to the tune of Rs 10.56 crore has been closed by the 13th Metropolitan Court in Hyderabad.

This follows an out of court settlement between GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited (GHAIL) and Kingfisher Airlines.

The Hyderabad Court had issued non-bailable warrants against Mallya and other top executives of Kingfisher Airlines last week, when they failed to appear in person.

GHAIL had filed a case in June against the airline, following the bouncing of cheques which were meant for payment of dues on user charges, parking, navigation etc.

The Kingfisher Airlines has reportedly paid the amount due, following which GHIAL withdrew its complaint from the court.
