MIC Electronics Ltd has informed BSE that it has become the lowest bidder in the recent tender floated by Andhra Pradesh Government for supply and erection of street lights in four of the five districts of the State.
As a lead member in consortium, MIC in league with 2 more companies participated in the bid against tender floated by Energy Efficiency Services Limited for “design, manufacture, supply, testing, installation (retrofit), and commissioning of LED street lights along with centralized control and monitoring system (CCMS) in the five districts of Andhra Pradesh.
These districts include Guntur, Krishna, East Godavari, West Godavari (1,81,398 LED street lights) and Prakasam (31,221 LED street lights). For the first four districts, the company stood 1st lowest (LI) bidder and for Prakasam district the Company stood 2nd lowest (L2) bidder, it informed BSE.
