Eywa Media has raised $1 million in seed funding from ah! Ventures, which the digital signal processing technology start-up intends to use for its expansion plans.

The US-based private equity fund Viktor Koenig and Indian venture capital firm Mantra Ventures also participated in this funding round.

Eywa Media, a company headquartered in Singapore, has offices in Mumbai and Bangalore.

“The funds would be used for upgrading existing products and launching new products. Further, it would also be used for expanding its marketing and sales presence into newer geographies,” said Anshuman Pratap Chaudhary, co-founder at Eywa Media.

The company, which already has a presence across Singapore, UAE and India, is exploring options to foray into the US, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

The deal was supported and syndicated by ah! Ventures and led to closure on its investment platform CLUBah.com. Founded in 2013 and incubated at Kyron Accelerator, Eywa Media had launched its operations in 2014.

The company’s EYWAConnect TV+ cloud platform enables broadcasters and advertisers to analyse data, engage and interact with consumers.
