GMR Aviation Academy has launched its first batch of three-month International Air Transport Association courses in travel and tourism, airport operations and air cargo at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport here.
The academy, which is the aviation training arm of the GMR Group, utilises the airport facilities for hands-on practical training.
IATA has accredited the academy as the authorised training centre for aviation related training programmes in India. It has also been appointed by Airport Council International as its global training hub.
It has also signed an MOU with Incheon International Airport Aviation Academy for joint development and delivery of training programmes.
Candidates who have completed their 10+2/Intermediate are eligible to apply for these courses.
