India’s Most Prestigious Award, Bharat Gaurav Award 2017 was hosted on 13 August. The award is dedicated to recognizing India’s Unseen Heroes. The Honorable chief guest Sh. M. Thambidurai (Deputy Speaker- Lok Sabha), Dr. P.K. Pathani (MP), Famous Actress and Singer Salma Agha and Actor Surendra Pal witnessed the Award Ceremony, The award is organized by Bharat Gaurav Award committee, this year it is going to be hosted for the fourth consecutive time. It is an event attended by acclaimed people for endorsing the contribution and hard work of the nominees from different domains. Bharat Gaurav Award –‘Choice of Millions’ is supported by Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India. In 2017, the award ceremony was hosted at the prestigious Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi, General Secretary of Bharat Gaurav Award committee Bharat Gaurav Sandesh Yadav informed that this award is awarded to recognize the outstanding work of individuals from within the Indian Community, outweigh the narrow barriers of discrimination on the basis of caste, creed, race, religion, and region. It provides the best platform to acknowledge the accomplishment of great statesmen of India. The award was honored to the nominee of different fields like civil service, Art and Culture, Agriculture, cottage Industry, social work, Public Affairs, Science and Technology, Trade and Industry, Medicine, Literature & education, sports, Media etc.
The award ceremony is also composed of different talents like famous YouTube girls of Haryana who sung the hymn “Mere Yaar Sudama Re” and singer Tanu and Manu presented their song on female foeticide. On this auspicious occasion, around 40 famous personalities were awarded by Bharat Gaurav Award 2017.
