Alstom T&D India has secured a contract worth Rs 138 crore from Power Grid Corporation for supply of transformers and reactors for expansion of 400/220 kV grid substations across southern India.
In a filing to the stock exchange, Alstom said the project is part of PowerGrid’s system strengthening scheme to boost power handling capacity of substations, and stabilise the transmission infrastructure.
