Ashok Leyland, the Hinduja Group flagship, has rolled back the prices of its commercial vehicles by one per cent with immediate effect. This comes in the wake of the Government's decision to reduce excise duty on one percentage point to 14 per cent on truck chassis. The company had hiked its vehicle prices by five per cent in the beginning of May, following the increase in excise duty on truck chassis announced during the Budget.
