FMCG firm Bajaj Corp has reported 24.96 per cent increase in standalone net profit at Rs 47.01 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2013.
The company had posted a standalone net profit of Rs 37.62 crore during the same period in the previous fiscal, Bajaj Corp said in a filing to the BSE today.
Standalone income from operations stood at Rs 170.04 crore during April-June quarter compared with Rs 138.04 crore during the same period last year.
The company’s shares were trading at Rs 244.75 apiece on the BSE, up 2.25 per cent from their previous close.
