CS aerotherm Private Ltd, a Bangalore based manufacturer of machinery for bakery industry, has partnered with Slovenian company, Gostol Gopan, to set up a 50:50 joint venture to manufacture and market bakery processing lines.

Gostol Gopan is a 60-year-old company specialising in providing complete solutions for bread and bakery products to customers in Europe. Where as CS aerotherm is maker of high-performance fuel-efficient electric oil and gas fired akery ovens and customers include Britannia, Nilgiris, Cremica Agro Foods, Monginis, Modern Foods, Karachi Bakery, Bonn Nutrients, Kitty Breads etc

Representatives of both the companies signed a MoU to this effect in the presence of prime minister of Slovenia, Mr Borut Pahor. According to Mr H. R. Raghuram, Managing Director of CS aerotherm, “The paid up capital of joint venture is Rs 2 crore with investment of Rs 1 crore each from Gostol Gopan and us.”

Gostol Gopan, as part of capital, will provide technical know-how and technical support for complete line consisting of dough make up machines, proving chamber, tunnel oven for baking, cooling chamber, conveyor system and process controls.

Target

The joint venture company has set a target to manufacture and market 15 to 20 lines in the next three years.

“CS aerotherm has the mandate to market in South Asian and West Asia countries where as Gostol Gopan will source these lines from the joint venture company for European market,” explained Mr Raghuram.
