Publishing group Condé Nast is bringing AD Architectural Digest to India next year. Architectural Digest India is the ninth edition of the magazine and is slated for a March 2012 launch.

Ms Oona Dhabar, Marketing Director, Condé Nast India, told Business Line the magazine will be focused on luxury design and architecture, targeted at “refined home-owners planning luxurious spaces”.

It will be a bi-monthly, priced Rs 100. The group already publishes Vogue, GQ and Condé Nast Traveller in India.

A press release says the magazine positions itself as the most trusted authority on design, architecture and living. It will feature photo spreads of homes, report on the latest trends and people in design and advise on home improvement.

Mr Alex Kuruvilla, Managing Director of Condé Nast India, says: “India is a country with a growing affluent population that already appreciates luxury and is now lavishing attention on their homes, making it the perfect time to introduce the world's most trusted authority on design.”

The other magazines in this space include Inside Outside, Elle Décor, Casa Viva and BBC Good Homes.
