Ford India is to launch its new Fiesta sedan by mid-July, company officials said on Thursday. The US-based automaker unveiled the car at the opening of a new brand experience store, ‘Fiesta Café', at a mall in New Delhi.

The first of the eight models to be launched by 2015, the new Fiesta will be manufactured at the plant near Chennai along side the current generation Fiesta (now rebranded as the ‘Fiesta Classic').

The new model features Ford's new sleek ‘kinetic' design concept and will be powered by Ti-VCT petrol and TDCi diesel powertrains.

The instrument panel of the four-door sedan has contrasting colours and has been made to feel as useful and intuitive as the keypad on a mobile phone. The top-end variant also comes equipped with Cruise Control, while the six-speaker audio system has Voice Control technology paired with Bluetooth, for wireless connectivity to a mobile phone, change the radio station, climate control settings or music track.
