H&R Johnson (India), a division of Prism Cement Ltd, has forayed into the luxury bathroom business in Kerala by rolling out its wide range of super premium products across its tile and bathroom products.

The company expects the luxury business to contribute over Rs 270 crore revenues in the next two years.

The Kerala market is expected to be one of the key contributors to the growth of the luxury business with over 50 per cent volumes accruing from the local market, the Managing Director, Mr Vijay Aggarwal, said in a press release.

As part of this roll-out in Kerala, H&R Johnson is creating a specialised network in the State to market and sell its luxury products.

The roll-out is in line with the company's strategy to provide customers a one-stop-shop experience across the entire portfolio of brands.

Rapid urbanisation, leading to increased standard of living, has resulted in rising demand for super-premium or luxury bathroom products such as super-premium tiles or sanitary ware.

The exclusive range of luxury products across Johnson & Marbonite brands will aim to meet the rising needs of the local customers.

In the tile business, H&R Johnson is rolling out the super-premium Marbonite GVT Infinity collection with over 15 exclusive offerings. It is also launching 30 new exclusive 3D designs under the Johnson Digital range.

In the bathroom business, H&R Johnson is launching the exclusive and super-premium bathrooms called Johnson Intellimate.
