Cyrus P. Mistry has been appointed Deputy Chairman of Tata Chemicals with immediate effect. He will be the Chairman-designate and will take over as Chairman from Ratan N. Tata on his retirement in December 2012. Mistry was inducted to the Board of Tata Chemicals in May 2012. A Director of Tata Sons since 2006, he was appointed Deputy Chairman of Tata Sons in November 2011.
