Automotive major Tata Motors Ltd expects a big turnaround in domestic passenger car sales during the year with the launch of two new cars Zest and Bolt powered by new family of Revotron engines.
The company today hinted at the launch of these two cars shortly.
It said that the passenger car market is looking up and with the extension of tax rebates, the automotive segment is poised to do well.
Revotron labs
The company has launched Revotron labs in 15 cities in busy locations such as malls to showcase the family of engines.
Tata Motors also sees growing demand for petrol-powered engines with the price differential between petrol and diesel gradually coming down.
The company plans to pack these engines in the export range as well.
