Titagarh Wagons Ltd (TWL) reported a 32 per cent jump in profit after tax (PAT) at Rs 27.16 crore in the quarter to June 30, 2011 over the corresponding quarter last year. Net sales for the quarter were up 43 per cent at Rs 217.07 crore (Rs.151.84 crore). Revenues during the first quarter from the rolling stocks grew about 47 per cent compared with the same period last financial year. Besides consolidating its position in railway wagons, TWL has plans to step into coach-building segment, a company note said
