UltraTech Cement, an Aditya Birla Group company, has resumed production at Awarpur plant in Maharashtra on Thursday.
The plant was shut on March 1 due to labour strike. The plant has a production capacity of 9,800 tonnes per day. Without giving any details on the kind of settlement made with the employees, UltraTech Cement informed investors that the operation at Awarpur Cement Works has resumed production from March 14. Shares of the company were up 0.41 per cent at Rs 1,907 on Thursday.
