Vivimed Labs Ltd has acquired Klar Sehen Pvt Ltd (KSPL), a Kolkata-based pharmaceutical company for an undisclosed sum.
KSPL operates in the ophthalmic segment with presence in north east, Bihar and Andhra Pradesh.
At present, is has 150 sales professionals on its rolls and owns 50 brands such as Renicol, Lysicon-V, Care Tears. Dexacort etc, in eye care segment. “The acquisition of KSPL complements its strategy to increase its domestic presence in specialty pharmaceutical areas,” the Hyderabad-based Vivimed said.
