The Asia International Jewellery Show (AIJS) will be held here from July 12 to 15, the organizers said here on Wednesday.
About 30 exhibitors of jewellery from India and abroad will participate in the four-day event, Mr Vishrut Puri, Director of Krivish Vision, the Ahmedabad-based company organizing it, told reporters here.
The exhibition-cum-sale, which will become an annual event, is expected to attract nearly 10,000 people, particularly women. Its main target audience is the high net-worth individuals, Page 3 socialites and others, he said.
Ms Himangini Sing Yadu, Miss Asia Pacific World 2012, will inaugurate the Show.
The main objective of AIJS is to promote Gujarat as a destination for jewellery buying, giving a boost to jewellery retailers and encourage tourism, Mr Puri said.
A wide range of jewelleries to be showcased during the show include gold, silver and diamond jewellery, Kundan Meena, jadtar, antique jewellery, Victorian jewellery etc.
