Cadila Healthcare Ltd (Zydus Cadila) on Thursday reported an increase of 14% in income and a reduction of 8% in net profit for the financial year ended March 31, 2012, as compared to the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
While the company’s income was Rs 5316.46 crore (Rs 4643.7 crore), its net profit stood at Rs 652.59 crore (Rs 711 crore), according to a company filing with the BSE.
The company has announced a dividend of 150%, that is Rs 7.50 on a face value of Rs 5, for the year ended March 31.
In Q4, Cadila’s income increased by 15% from Rs 1213 crore to Rs 1398 crore and net profit by 16% to Rs 178 crore, excluding forex fluctuations.
