Over 300 employees of Cadila Pharmaceuticals Ltd, principal sponsor of Sabarmati Marathon, will participate in the event to be held here on Sunday.
Cadila Pharmaceuticals has been the principal sponsor of this event since the last few years, Dr Rajiv I Modi, Chairman and Managing Director, said here on Friday.
Last year, more than 15,000 people participated in the Sabarmati Marathon and this year the number is expected to be even higher, he said.
The company has also sponsored T-shirts for the event. Sabarmati Marathon participants would run with the ‘Polycap’ logo on their T-shirts.
Polycap is a novel and world’s first five drug combination for prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
