Concentrix India inaugurated its second facility in the city on Tuesday and plans to double its headcount to 2,000 by October.
The company, which is into business process management, has a 600-seater facility at Rednam Gardens. The company is investing $ 1.06 million on its second facility, according to Country General Manager Ravinder Singh Rana.
He said the company would operate its new facility in 20,000 sft taken on lease at SRK Destiny on VIP road. "Another 20,000 sft is getting ready at the same building to complete expansion by October," he added.
Vizag has everything to emerge among the top two to three BPM centres in India because of its culture, location and talent pool, Rana said.
As part of its CSR activities, the company is also conducting programmes to upgrade skills for students of local colleges in collaboration with NASSCOM.
The new Concentrix footprint serves over 10 industries such as banking, insurance, health care, telecom and automobiles.
