VE Commercial Vehicles today reported 7.6 per cent increase in total sales in May at 4,035 units against 3,750 units in the same month last year.
Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded total sales of 3,962 units in May 2015 compared with 3,685 units in the same month last year, up 7.5 per cent, the company said in a statement.
In the domestic market, Eicher trucks and buses recorded sales of 3,617 units against 3,064 units in the year-ago period, an increase of 18 per cent.
Exports of Eicher trucks and buses stood at 345 units in May 2015 against 621 units in May last year, down 44.4 per cent.
Volvo trucks have recorded sales of 73 units during the month compared with 65 units in the same month last year, up 12.3 per cent.
