Fujitsu Consulting India, the IT consulting arm of the Fujitsu Group, has appointed Jaswinder Sohal as the new Chief Executive Officer. He will be based out of the company’s corporate headquarters in Pune.
Prior to this appointment, Sohal was the Chief Financial Officer of Fujitsu Telecommunications Company in the UK.
“Amongst the various Global Development Centres of Fujitsu, India being the largest in capability and operations plays a pivotal role in the overall Fujitsu business strategy. Jaswinder Sohal’s appointment as the CEO of Fujitsu Consulting India will help our Fujitsu business and our clients further leverage its offshoring capability,” said Brian Murphy, Senior Vice President, International Business.
Sohal is a qualified engineer and chartered accountant, as per a company statement.
Fujitsu Consulting has offices in Pune, Noida, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
