Gayatri Projects Limited (GPL), the Hyderabad-based construction company, has reported a 13 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 13.36 crore for the second quarter ended September 30 as against Rs 11.82 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal.
Revenue for the quarter was up 14.68 per cent to Rs 321.64 crore as against Rs 280.48 crore in the corresponding quarter in the previous year.
Mr Sandeep Kumar Reddy, Managing Director, Gayatri Projects, in a statement said, “increased spending on the infrastructure sector and thrust on private partnership to speed up the infrastructure sector augurs well. We continue to maintain a positive outlook.”
EPS for the quarter was Rs 8.85, up by 11.18 per cent as against Rs 7.96 for the corresponding period last year. The company stated it has an order book of around Rs 8,000 crore.
