Godrej Properties has signed a memorandum of understanding with Axis Bank to offer a special scheme to its customers.
Customers will be able to get a home loan from Axis Bank by paying 10 per cent margin money against 20 per cent. They will have the flexibility to pay the balance 10 per cent during the term of the payment schedule.
Mr Girish Shah, Vice-President (Marketing & Sales), Godrej Properties, said: “This is a unique scheme in the market. We are sure that our customers will immensely benefit from this offering that will make their home purchase more affordable. This offer will also benefit young customers as the initial contribution becomes half what it would have otherwise been.”
Mr Jairam Sridharan, Head - Consumer Lending & Payments, Axis Bank, said: “Our goal is to help our customers settle into great homes, not just to offer them the best home loans. This relationship will allow us to offer such a package of solutions to them.’’
