Godrej Properties Ltd, a subsidiary of the Godrej Group, is planning to set up two real estate projects in the city next fiscal (2013-14).
“We will start two real estate projects in Kolkata in 2013-14 on a joint venture basis,” Mr Adi Godrej, Chairman-designate, Godrej Group, said on the sidelines of the Confederation of Indian Industry's annual regional meeting here on Thursday.
According to Mr Godrej, the company is yet to finalise the names of its joint venture partners. Joint venture partners are likely to be finalised next fiscal. He, however, did not divulge details of the projects.
Currently, the company has one residential and two commercial projects in Kolkata. While Godrej Prakriti, the residential project is spread over 22 acres of land in north Kolkata (near Belghoria), Godrej Waterside and Genesis are the two commercial projects located in Salt Lake, the state's IT hub.
