Hitachi Home & Life Solutions (India) Ltd, a subsidiary of Japan’s Hitachi Appliances Inc, today said it has appointed Shoji Tsubokuta as the new managing director.
He will take charge from October 1, the company said.
“Motoo Morimoto, current managing director, is shifting to Hitachi Appliances Inc, Japan, on his new assignment,” it said in a BSE filing.
The company’s product range in India includes air conditioners and refrigerators.
During the quarter ended June 30, 2013, the company reported net profit of Rs 14.22 crore as against Rs 13.61 crore, an increase of 4.48 per cent, in the same quarter a year ago.
