Honda Cars launches intelligent information platform for customers

Honda Cars India (HCIL) on Tuesday launched Honda Connect, an intelligent and advanced information platform for its customers. 

This is an intelligent automotive application for smartphones (iOS and Android) to provide convenient access to detailed information about Honda vehicles and other services.

It will give customers important information about their cars even when they are not with it and provide an extreme sense of safety and security, the company said.

Apart from that, the application will also inform customers about service schedule and health of the car from time to time.

The connected car features have been developed by Minda i-Connect and is being offered at Honda dealerships exclusively to all new customers of the Jazz, City and CR-V and the device is priced at ₹2,999. 

The app can be downloaded free of cost and customers have to pay for data charges as per the telecom operator's tariff plans, the company said, adding that as of now it will be available with Vodafone customers.

This platform offers a value-added communications channel that bonds Honda even more closely with our customers," Katsushi Inoue, President and Chief Executive Officer, HCIL, said.
