Two-wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has reported 38.77 per cent growth in August sales at 3,08,932 units against 2,22,613 units sold in the corresponding month last year.
Motorcycle sales registered a rise of 50.23 per cent to 1,56,629 units from 1,04,253 units, the company said in a statement.
The company also reported an increase of 28.67 per cent in its scooter sales at 1,52,303 units against 1,18,360 units in August 2012, it said.
