To sweeten the deal for buyers of petrol hatchbacks, i10 and Santro, Hyundai has now added a three-year (or 40,000 km) free maintenance package and motor insurance at Re 1.
Part of its new ‘5 Star Assurance Program’, this will lead to a Rs 42,000 savings on the Santro and Rs 46,000 for the i10. Alternatively, buyers can also opt for Rs 35,000 cash discount.
This limited period package also combines previous incentives such as ‘24 X 7 roadside assistance’ for two years, an Exchange/Loyalty offer of Rs 15,000 and a ‘Warranty Assurance Program’ with extended warranty for the third year or up to 40,000 km.
Mr Arvind Saxena, Director, Sales and Marketing, Hyundai Motor India said, “The primary objective being to enhance customer satisfaction long after the purchase has been made.”
Other carmakers also offer similar programmes, especially to push lagging sales of petrol models. General Motors offers a three-year free maintenance and one year free insurance on models such as the Spark.
