Ipca Laboratories today said its formulations manufacturing unit at a special economic zone in Indore has received the UK health regulator’s approval for good manufacturing practices.
The company’s new formulations manufacturing unit at SEZ Indore has been inspected and certified for compliance with principles and guidelines of good manufacturing practices by the UK Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency, Ipca Labs said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
“It is the fourth manufacturing unit of the company to have received such approval from UK MHRA,” it added.
Ipca Laboratories is one of the leading manufacturers and exporters of active pharmaceutical ingredients in the country. Shares of Ipca Laboratories were trading at Rs 270.20 apiece on the BSE today, up 3.33 per cent from the previous close.
