ITC Hotels has tied up with Ravi Pillai-led R P Group Hotels and Resorts to manage its five hotels in India and Dubai. These hotels will be run under the company’s five-star brand WelcomHotel and upscale brand Fortune.
While the hotel at Kollam will now operate as WelcomHotel Raviz Resort & Ayurveda Center, the other hotel will branded as WelcomHotel Raviz Resort & Ayurveda Center Kadavu.
The company said in addition to two WelcomHotel properties, on the anvil is also Fortune Raviz Calicut and two Fortune Raviz hotels in Dubai. “Both Kerala and Dubai possess immense tourism potential as significant inbound and outbound destinations for the country,” the company said.
Under a memorandum of understanding inked between ITC and R P Group Hotels and Resorts, the two existing properties branded as WelcomHotel will run under a management contract and will be flagged off immediately. The three Fortune hotels will be launched subsequently.
ITC Hotels have been focusing to add several managed hotels to its brand portfolio. “On the anvil are an ITC super-premium luxury hotel in Mahabalipuram, a WelcomHotel in Jodhpur, Patna and Chandigarh, and more than 30 hotels under the Fortune brand,” the company added.
